Chatham Paws-a-Palooza is a pet-friendly (on leash) and family-friendly event hosted by Chatham Friends of the Parks promoting pet adoption, responsible ownership and pet welfare while raising money for ongoing construction, upkeep and improvements to the new Chatham Community Dog Park.
Food & Drink provided by the Chatham Jaycees (there will be beer sales)

Animal Protective League
Animal Protective League has been the voice for animals in Springfield and Sangamon County for more than 50 years. APL operates a shelter for sick, injured, abused and abandoned dogs and cats, along with comprehensive animal welfare programs. APL is a private, not-for-profit organization. It operates entirely by donations.
Sangamon County Animal Control Adoptable Pets
Sangamon County Animal Control Adoptable Pets is dedicated to enriching the lives of adoptable pets in residence at Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center. These objectives will be served by promoting and facilitating adoptions and transfers to other animal shelters, by participating in community outreach events to enhance awareness of Sangamon County Animal Control and Adoption Center, and by educating the community on animal welfare issues.
WILD Canine Rescue
WILD Canine Rescue is devoted to saving animals in need. We are dedicated to proper care and welfare of animals who are homeless, abandoned and abused WILD will rescue dogs when they have run out of time in shelters or are in need of medical treatment.
Benld Adopt-a-Pet
Benld Adopt-A-Pet is a not-for-profit, no-kill animal shelter located in Benld, Illinois. Our mission is to rescue abandoned and/or abused pets and place them in loving “Forever” homes.
Forever Home Feline Ranch
Forever Home Feline Ranch is a not-for-profit volunteer animal welfare group. Our threefold mission is to provide every cat in need a forever home, be a sanctuary where cats will have a second chance to live a full life in a no-cage, no-kill environment, and to lead the effort to make Central Illinois a no-kill community by ending euthanasia as a method of controlling feline populations.

Illinois Humane provides a comprehensive approach to improving animal welfare in Illinois. In addition to our adoption and humane investigation services, we are committed to addressing the issues that contribute to homeless animal situations by educating the community and working to strengthen the laws protecting animals.
